Whether you just found a great book and want to know if it’s part of a series, you see a bunch of books by an author and want to know which order to read them in, or know of a series and would like to figure out the author’s names, we know the perfect resource for this! “What’s Next™ Books In Series” is a database from the Kent District Library that we librarians rely on frequently. KDL’S What’s Next database lists young adult and adult fiction series. The database allows users to search by any one of the following:
- Author’s last name
- Author’s first name
- Series name
- A single book’s title
Users can also narrow the results by genre. In our experience here at WCPL, KDL’s database has been accurate and up-to-date about 99 percent of the time.
