Call the Main Library at (260) 824-1612, or the Ossian branch at (260) 622-4691, for more information or to sign up.
You can also complete the Homebound Library Service Application online. If needed, ask a family member or library staff for assistance.
Speak with the library staff member in charge of Homebound Services and fill out the Homebound application. Later books will be selected for either pick up by a friend/family member or a delivery time will be set up. If items are to be picked up at the library, it is recommended to call ahead a few days to give library staff time to pull books. When deliveries are made they run on six week intervals with up to 10 selected items. If items need to be delivered they will be done by a library staff member or qualified volunteer.
You must be a resident of Wells County and have a current library card. Delivery or pick up (by friend or family member) is available to individuals unable to select their own items or come to the library due to mobility, health, or disability barriers. Whether you are at home, in assisted living or in a nursing facility, you are eligible.
The library has a large collection of large print and regular print books, as well as many audio books, including: classics, current novels, mysteries, westerns, romance, current events, health issues, religion, cooking, traveling and more.
