Wells County Public Library Reopening Safety Protocol

Employee Health Screening Process
-All Wells County Public Library employees are required to take their temperatures at home before reporting to work at the library. If they do not have a thermometer, one will be provided at the building entrance. Staff with a temperature of 100.4 or higher will stay home.
-Staff will report to the manager on duty if their status is yes to the following questions:
- -Do you have a fever?
- -Do you have a cough?
- -Do you have shortness of breath?
- -Do you have other symptoms of COVID-19?
-Staff will not report to work in the building if they are feeling unwell or have symptoms of COVID-19
Enhanced Cleaning
-Library Materials
- -Library materials will be quarantined for 48 hours when returned.
-Frequently Used Surfaces
- -All frequently used areas will be cleaned with CDC approved cleaning products after each transaction.
Compliance with Social Distancing
-All library employees will maintain a 6-foot distance at all time.
-Staff are asked to not share work spaces without sanitizing in-between uses.
-Contactless transactions will be conducted with the public including pick-up services, drive-up service, contactless delivery and online/phone reference.
Personal Hygiene/Ability to Wash Hands
-All library employees are required to wear masks when in shared areas in the library.
-All library employees may wear gloves when handling materials.
-All library employees are required to practice frequent hand-washing.
