The Wells County Public Library is having a Day of the Dead Party on Friday, November 1 from 5:30-7:30 pm at the Main Library in Bluffton to celebrate El Dia De Los Muertos.
Attendees will get to enjoy traditional mariachi music while they create a skull mask, play games, enjoy crafts, and other activities. There will also be a chance to create your own tacos and sip agua frescas.
Costumes are encouraged, and there will be plenty of chances throughout the evening to learn about the traditions behind this popular celebration.
This event is free and open to the public. It’s best for teens and adults, but all ages are welcome. Children that attend will get to participate in some of the crafts and then can watch a movie while other activities are going on.
Registration is appreciated. Sign up on our Library Event’s Calendar listing or call 260-824-1612.
Since this is an afterhours event, anyone under the age of 18 needs a parent permission slip on file at the library to attend. These will be available at the doors as well.
