WCPL Teen Iron Chef
There is still time to sign up for the library's Teen Iron Chef Competition that will take place on October 14 at 6:00 in Bluffton. Teens working in teams will turn the ingredients given to them into a tasty dessert and delicious drink for our judge(s) to sample. No cooking experience will be necessary since we won't have access to a stove, but a willingness to get creative will be a big plus in this program. The teams will be graded on presentation, creativity, and of course, taste! The winning team will receive chamber bucks and the title of WCPL Teen Iron Chef Champions! All of the teens will get to sample the creations at the end of the program. Registration is required by Monday, October 13 for a guaranteed spot.
Written by Leah BaumgartnerHi, my name is Leah Baumgartner and I work in the Teen Zone at the Wells County Public Library. I’ll be honest and say that when I was first asked many years ago to help with the teens I was rather surprised to find out how much fun I had working with them. I still enjoy working with them today! Of course, I also love to read! If you see me in the library be sure to stop by and say hi!
