Who else is ready to forget about winter?  I AM! I AM!

Anton Chekhov said, “People don’t notice whether it’s winter or summer when they’re happy.” Next week we’re hoping (weather permitting, of course) that the Children’s Room will be full of happiness with the start of our Winter/Spring Story Session.  There are still a few spots open in our Toddler Time, Story Hour and Wee Read.  If you would still like to sign up for one of these classes, please call the Main Library (260.824.1612) or the Ossian Brach (260.622.4691) to reserve your spot.

Just a reminder—if you attend story sessions at the Main Library, we cancel programming if Bluffton-Harrison MSD closes.  If you attend programming at the Ossian Branch, we follow the Northern Wells Community Schools cancellations.  If either school delays, we continue with our normal programming.

Salutations from the Children’s Room! This is Stefanie Kipfer checking in from the shelves of picture books, beginning readers and chapter books plus lots of true fact books. When I’m not singing, crafting or reading aloud to our youngest patrons, I’m searching for new books and audiobooks to fill their brains with fun and folly. If I actually get something written for this blog “it just shows what can happen if a person gets out of bed promptly (Charlotte’s Web).” Enjoy!
