Space waiting for Coffee!

Posted on March 04, 2014 at 1:39 PM

The library's cafe space is still waiting and hoping that a coffee shop moves in.  As the library's biggest coffee drinker, I truly miss the convenient coffee source, but more than that I miss the smells and sounds of a vibrant business outside our library doors.  I miss being able to meet with vendors, community leaders and patrons over a cup of coffee.  I miss having someone to conveniently cater breakfast or lunch for  programs and meetings.  I miss the partnership potential.  I miss seeing people sitting in the library or cafe with a cup of their favorite coffee enjoying a good book or working on a laptop.  Coffee, books, and libraries just seem to go together.  Don't you agree?

Help me bring coffee back to the library and find the right entrepeneur.  If running a cafe is not in your future, perhaps you know someone who is willing and able! Send him or her my way.
